If you're interested in The New Timey Radio Hour...

For Playwrights:

Submissions are OPEN NOW.

Scripts can be of any length, but we will produce two short scripts for every full length script each month, so short plays do have a better shot of being selected. If we select your script for production, we will produce it in a live reading in the style of a radio play, with sound effects and music accompanying the action, where appropriate, contacting you for feedback as the rehearsal process develops. We will then promote that show to theatres far and wide throughout the English-speaking world, with the goal to get the show into as many ears as possible. You will receive a high-quality recording of the production for your own archives and promotional purposes, as well, and your play's recording will be held in the archive for one year, at the minimum.

You can submit scripts at the link below in .doc, .pdf, or final draft formats.

For Directors:

Directing three shows a month is definitely too much for one busy married couple to handle, so if you're interested in directing a play, please get in touch. Rehearsal demands are fairly light, similar to those of directing a theatrical reading, plus a dress rehearsal to set recording levels and sound effect timing. We can help you with casting if you need it, and we will happily promote any other show you might be working on at the end of the episode.

For Actors:

New Timey is a unique experience for actors because your only tool is your voice. That may seem limiting, but you live in Omaha, a city with a large market for voice acting. Thanks, non-regional dialect. Once you perform in three plays for New Timey, we will happily edit out some of your best moments for you to create a voice acting mini-reel, of sorts. We will be recording with professional quality mics and equipment, so you should sound pretty good.
